Five college students visit an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that transforms them into demons. Ash, a housewares employee turned demon-killing hero, must use his chainsaw to save the day. This Canadian adaptation combines blood, jokes, cheesy effects, and musical numbers for a comedic horror experience. Book and lyrics by George Reinblatt; music by Frank Cipolla, Christopher Bond, Melissa Morris, and George Reinblatt; based on characters created by Sam Raimi.
