Two Greek gods — Apollo and Hermes — settle a wager by granting fifteen dogs human consciousness. The play follows these animals as they navigate the complexities of thought and emotion, discovering both the delights and dangers of intelligence. Conflicts emerge over status, freedom, and choice, ultimately exploring themes of consciousness, morality, and what defines humanity. Adapted for the stage by Marie Farsi from the novel by André Alexis; directed by Haysam Kadri. In association with Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.
