The Strategy of War

Created and performed by Master Storyteller Mera Reyes, directed and choreographed by Javier Vilalta. A half-play, half-storytelling world premiere presenting authentic Aztec myths and spiritual heritage. Reyes collaborates with archaeologists, Elders, and Indigenous martial artists to explore pre-colonial Mexican culture through ritual theatre, examining themes of faith, warrior culture, and the distinct meanings of Aztec symbols and cosmology.
